About
Where traditional publishers accept completed manuscripts
Opal Sky Media are open to working from the outset with applicable content- creators. Proposed works need not be spectrum, from e-books, to graphic media, reports, memoirs, videos and social media engagements. We look forward to working with potential collaborating partner content-creators, utilizing (auto-)ethnographic methodologies to create new transmedia work.
In our collaborative research, writing, design and digital publishing in rendering multi-cultural identity as lived experience, we offer consultation, research, development, publishing and dissemination services. Our digital publications are available to individual buyers, stores and libraries worldwide through Thorpe-Bowker ISBN integration.. Consequently, as part of our belief in the validity of both process and product, we welcome inter-cultural proposals at any stage. Accepted proposals will be offered potential co-development at the onset of any engagement. So too, where may be required, we match freelance researchers, journalists, writers, designers and media content creators to the project in each relative stage of development.

Why publish with us?
Opal Sky Media is not solely profit-driven. We focus on authentically rendering multi-cultural lived experience as a longitudinal project: an evolving archive of potential research significance. Our publishing team include a professional inter-cultural communication [IC] teacher, trained librarian / archivist and former Research Fellow at Australia’s National Film & Sound Archive [NFSA]. Experience includes related trans-national tertiary teaching and IC course / curriculum design and implementation in China.
It is this basis in international education that governs our ethics and attention to detail in project development. As needed, any freelance hires are selected from an international network of professional editorial, design, research and journalistic collaborators. In addition, our ethnographic research services ensure our collaborative digital projects maintain a connection to contemporary geo-politics as further qualifying multi-cultural identity as lived experience in an increasingly multi-polar world.
